Eye care that goes beyond vision.
Your vision impacts everything you do — from focusing at work to driving at night to feeling clear-headed at the end of the day. At West Vision, we believe your eye exam should help you live more comfortably, not just see more clearly.
Too many patients come to us after rushed, surface-level exams that never solved their problems.
They’re still battling headaches, dry eyes, or blurry vision, and wondering if something was missed. At West Vision, we believe your eyes, and your life, deserve better.
Our exams don’t stop at checking your prescription. We uncover the root causes behind your symptoms, protect your long-term eye health, and give you confidence that nothing is being overlooked.

EXAMS AT WEST VISION
-
At West Vision, our comprehensive eye exams go beyond checking your prescription. We take time to understand how your eyes work together and use advanced diagnostic technology to catch issues early — often before symptoms appear.
During your exam, our doctors will:
Evaluate how your eyes work together as a team
Screen for early signs of eye disease
Use high-resolution imaging for accuracy and comfort
We look for and help manage:
Glaucoma
Macular degeneration
Keratoconus
Dry eye
Your eyes can also reveal signs of systemic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, allowing for early detection and treatment before vision is affected.
Whether it’s been a year or several since your last visit, our goal is simple:
to help you see clearly, feel comfortable, and protect your vision for life. -
Healthy vision starts early — and lasts a lifetime.
Children rely on their eyes for nearly every aspect of learning, coordination, and confidence. But many vision problems can’t be detected through school screenings, even when a child has “20/20” eyesight.
We recommend pediatric eye exams at:
6–12 months
Age 3
Every two years throughout the school years
Common childhood vision issues we screen for:
Strabismus (eye misalignment or “crossed eyes”)
Amblyopia (“lazy eye”)
Refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism)
Signs your child may need an eye exam:
Squinting or tilting their head
Avoiding reading or close-up work
Complaining of fatigue or headaches
Short attention span or frequent distractions
Our pediatric exams are gentle, thorough, and designed to make kids feel at ease. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way so your child’s vision — and confidence — stay strong as they grow.
Eye care should do more than correct your vision, it should help you live more comfortably every day.
At West Vision, we combine advanced technology with personalized, medical-grade care to treat the full picture of your eye health. From chronic dryness to daily headaches, we help patients find comfort, and relief.

What can I expect during my exam?
When you arrive at West Vision, our front desk team will greet you and help with any forms or insurance verification before your visit begins. Once you’re checked in, one of our technicians will bring you to a private exam room for preliminary testing.
You can expect:
Pre-Testing: We’ll measure your vision, check eye pressure, and capture detailed images of your eyes using our advanced diagnostic technology — often without the need for dilation.
Doctor Examination: Dr. West or Dr. Fisher will review your test results, assess your eye health, and perform your comprehensive vision exam.
Specialized Testing (if needed): Many patients also receive a quick Neurolens® assessment using our VR-based technology to detect subtle eye misalignments that can cause headaches and strain.
Discussion & Recommendations: Your doctor will explain your results clearly, answer questions, and recommend next steps — whether that’s new eyewear, specialty lenses, or medical treatment.
Frame Styling (optional): If you’re selecting glasses, our opticians will guide you through our curated collection of designer frames to find the perfect fit and style.
Most exams take about 30–45 minutes, depending on your needs. You’ll leave with a complete understanding of your vision and eye health — not just a new prescription.
